The Canelli family arrived in America from Naples, Italy in 1912 where Michael’s father worked in all the finest Italian restaurants in New York. Since then, Michael’s dream has been to one day open his own restaurant. That is when he met and married Suzanne.
While residing in New Jersey, Michael and Suzanne established their first Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant in 1977, which quickly grew to a total of three restaurants before they started having children. They did not want other people raising their children so they made the decision to sell their business and move to wonderful, sunny Arizona. They soon found their great pizza and wonderful Italian dishes were still in high demand. So by popular demand Michael and Suzanne Canelli are back with their first location in the beautiful growing city of Queen Creek, Arizona! The Canelli’s are very proud of their Arizona restaurant and have made sure to replicate the same popular eatery with their original mouth-watering cuisine that was so successful in New Jersey. They meticulously paid special attention to every detail to ensure everything is the exact same as it was in New Jersey (right down to the PH balance of the water they use).

All of Canelli's delicious dishes are homemade from Suzanne’s Mother and Grandmother’s original recipe files. Only the finest ingredients are used within these recipes. For example; Polly-O cheeses are the only cheeses allowed in the recipes. Everyday Suzanne makes her sauces from scratch and hand rolls fresh dough.
